Funkin Stylez World Team Battle 2016

This weekend, we had the opportunity to present at the Snipes Funkin Stylez World Team Battle! Funkin Stylez is a world wide known, international battle bringing some of the best All Style Crews on a big stage. Invited Teams like Team Korea, Team Japan, Team France and Team Germany are batteling against qualified Teams - like us!
We danced against Team France (going to the Finals) and Team Ukraine. Unfortunately, we could not persuade the judges - but the audience! We got a lot of positive feedback, so we are happy we could present our style, crew, way of dance, family and girlz power! We had fun and we will come back for the next All Style Team Battle!

December 2015 was full of action! No winter break!

Open Session - 1year Anniversary

At the first monday of december, we celebrated the 1year Anniversary at Quartier am Hafen! Yeah! You didn´t came to participate in the session yet? Check the next first monday in the month!

This is me Battle - 13.12.2016

Bahar was judging the "This is Me" Battle in Cologne, organised by Köln tanzt. It was about dancing a special emotion or story in the battle rounds. Dany participated and made it until the final!

House Session - 3 years Anniversary - 18.12.2016

Yeliz celebrated the 3 years Anniversary of her wekly organised House-Session in tanzhaus nrw. It was a big party, including a battle were dancers and dance-interesed refugees came to battle, dance and have fun together. 

All that House - Allstyle Battle - 19.12.2016

nutro´s were invited to the Allstyle-Battle organised by Virgil "Skychief" of the famous Crew "The Ruggeds" in Eindhoven. Yeliz and Frieda went to Eindhoven and passed the preselection and made it to the "TopFemale8" in the battle!

Open Your Mind 2015 / Eindhoven, Netherlands

Back from Eindhoven - OPEN YOUR MIND was blasting. A great event with 2vs2 Experimental Battle, Workshops and a Dance Theater Night. Such good music, vibes and new impulses. Thanks to Drosha&team for the organization and as well merci beaucoup to David Colas/Companie Form, Marseille for a really nice workshop and the inspiring performance of the Duo "Form"!

We had a great time having the chance to meet some beautiful people.

Dance is powerful.

We're looking forward to what's next..

Physical Dramaturgy #2

We had a good weekend at Physical Dramaturgy #2 at Tanzhaus NRW! It was great to exchange with a lot of skilled and experienced people living for dance.

In two different labatories we worked to the topics of Urban Dramaturgy (by choreograph Takao Baba & dramaturg Célestin Hennermann) and Dancer = Music? (by dancer Raphael Hillebrand & musician Manuel Druminski), had discussions and talks, watched the urban dance theater piece "Build for it" by choreographer Alida Dors/Netherlands and watched the battles at the "Battleroom" event hosted by House of Melody.

We are motivated to work, work, work!

Movementresearch in the Lab of Raphael Hillebrand with the content "Me and the Music": work with the CINETIC CAMERA which recognizes the Movements with Sounds. Which means: The Movements influence the Sound into High/ Deep /Loud/ and Quite Tones!

Bgirl Frost takes 2nd place at Before Authentik/ France

Invited for participate at the international Bgirl Battle "Before Authentik" on 30.10.15 in France, Bgirl Frost took the 2nd place. Eight international and eight french bgirls were invited to participate and mixed together in teams to compete in a 2on2 battle.

Battle of the Year international - Dani wins the Locking battle!

Congratulations to our nutro Dani for winning the 1vs1 Locking Battle at the Funkstyle Warmup Party of the Battle of the Year 2015!

And nutro BGirl Frost participated for the 3rd time in the 2vs2 BGirl Battle, where only invited dancers can take part, with Bgirl B-Nice from Canada.
